Other Motor Vehicles
The Great Northern used several types of vehicles for it's operations. Trucks were used in for instance Maintenance of Way or Track Detector service. Busses were used on connections to name trains, but also to carry sightseers around. Cars were used by company officials on and off tracks and even motorcycles were used. Here are some of the vehicles that are still around.
GN Freight Liner

Remarks: Truck is owned by John Robinson of the Minnesota
Transportation Museum. Although it is not an original
GN truck or paint scheme, it is still a very nice one to
show here.
GN 'Indian Scout' Motorcycle
Location: Reynolds Museum

Type: Indian Scout Motorcycle

Remarks: Motorcycle is rumored to have been from the Prince of
Wales hotel but some sources say it was found by the
museum in Fernie, British Columbia.
