Notes: ? Information on these trains is sketchy and incomplete. What is known is presented but should be treated with care. 1. Inaugurated in May 1909 the Northwest and Southeast expresses were sister trains. The Northwest Express was renamed Great Northern express in November 1909. These trains were unable to compete against the faster Union Pacific route. From the early 1910s the trains were truncated several times. It's unclear if the names stayed connected to the 43/44 line pair until 1929. 2. The Adventureland also operated on numbers 43/44. In what years is unclear. 3. The Mississippi Valley Limited and sister train Puget Sound Limited were only operated during the 1924 Glacier Park season.

Grey bars show the period in which a train operated. The numbered Notes give more information on certain changes in a trains history. Trains that operated in both directions are indicated by "v.v." behind the route.
