The Great Northern News - Summer 1949

This issue of the Great Northern News, specially printed for the Chicago Railroad Fair held in the Summer of 1949, stands model for the revamping of the 'Great Northern in the News' section of this website.

The GN in the News page has been changed to 'blog' format which will bring many benefits. The news page will be easier to update making it convenient to add news items in-between major website updates. Besides other advantages like search and the possibility to leave comments, the other big change is that visitors can now register to add GN related news items themselves.
